BETTER RIDE was formed nearly 3 years ago when the Fallout was hosting a month-long writing project designed to include people with developmental disabilities.  After the month of journaling, story and poetry writing was over they wanted to continue.  So we wrote a screenplay and filmed it and then started writing some songs.  We thought somebody should sing our songs so we started putting the word to music ourselves.  At our first performance at Open Mic BETTER RIDE was born.  Since then we've played over 150 shows all over South Dakota including Sioux Falls Downtown Block Party, Rapid City Kids Festival and the Dare To Dream Conference in Spearfish.  We gain members wherever we go as we have a open band policy, If you want to be in the band just join us whenever you can.  We now have over 75 member from all over South Dakota.
