The Fallout encouraged everyone to get out and ride this summer with the Art & Bicycle Spectacle on May 24, 25 & 26.
Friday featured a reception for the Bike Art Show (An exhibition of Bicycle themed art by area artists.) and a DJ followed by sculpture making with Bicycle parts, kids crafts and live music.
Saturday started with a Bike-A-Thon some wen t 40 miles and others took the shorter 5 mile ride out to the lake. Later there was a safety course for children with free helmets, licenses and bike maintenance followed by workshops and live music. the headlining band was The Sunny Era a gypsy rock band form Minneapolis.
Sunday was the Festival with downtown streets blocked off. Kids Activities, Free food, Hands on Art Stations, Craft vendors, Games, live music (including the Hope of Dreams band: BETTER RIDE), free bike maintenance, helmets and licenses and much more.
