Fallout takes the top prize at a local film competition

The Fallout Creative Community competed against 15 other films in the 2013 Fischgaard Film Project on May 3-5.  The competition challenges teams to create a film in one weekend with elements to be included in the films given on Friday evening followed by frenzied creativity concluding with films being screened and judged on Sunday evening.
The Fallout team featured several members of Hope of Dreams (a group of people with disabilities who plan events and projects for the Fallout).  The team made a film called Run By Louie's Place.  It's about a unlikely group of athletes participating in a 1K Run and features mistakes and second (and third) chances and ultimately redemption and victory.
The film won the audience vote for Best Ensemble, Best Use of Character, Best Use of Line of Dialogue and judges gave it the Best Film award.
Because they won Best Film the film is now an official selection for the South Dakota Film Festival in September.
The Film features Danny Guthmiller, Brandon Murray, Rob Wedemann, Ryan Pederson, Adam Shepard, Beth Carson, Christy Harms, Kirra Songer, Joshua Wisniewski and Fallout Directors Dan and Angie Cleberg.  Dan directed and edited the film.
