FALLOUT FILM FESTIVAL

Fallout Creative Community is hosting the Fallout Film Festival at the Red Rooster Coffee House on Friday March 22 at 7pm.  The Festival will feature short films by area producers including "Table 9" by Brian Hoesing, "The Landlord" by Ray & Aaron Pierlioni, "Mall Wizard" by the Fallout "Hope of Dreams" group and films by Allison Berg, Daniel Guthmiller, Trevor LeBeau and others.  Area film makers are welcome to submit films to be included in this or future film screenings by contacting Dan Cleberg at meepo@aol.com or 605-228-1064.

The festival finale will be a screening of Quadman, a locally produced "Lo-fi Sci-fi" film considered by many to be the catalyst for the Aberdeen film making scene.  The film which debuted in 2000 was written by and stars Bruce Likness.

Table 9, an official selection of the South Dakota Film Festival, was directed by Brian Hoesing and written by Hoesing and Trevor LeBeau.  The cast includes Trevor and Sierra LeBeau, Hoesing and Andrea Sgarlatti.  Dan Cleberg served as Cinematographer.  CAUTION: THIS FILM HAS CUSS WORDS IN IT, INCLUDING THE "F" WORD.


Mall Wizard was created as part of a Fallout writing project designed to include people with developmental disabilities.  Directed by Dan Cleberg it stars Ryan Pederson as the Wizard, Brandon Murray and Sandy Glover as the mall rats and Rob Wedemann and Beth Carson as the mall cops.


Louie's Service is a short documentary about a longtime family owned local gas station that was recently sold.  It is narrated by the station owner's son, Daniel Guthmiller.


The Landlord was Directed by Ray Pierlioni and written by Ray and Aaron Pierlioni, the story is based on an idea by Justin Himes and Ryan Malsom, staring Ryan Malsom and Shawna Pytleski as the tenants "Jesse and Vanna" and Justin Himes as the peculiar landlord.

The Fallout Creative Community is an Aberdeen nonprofit arts organization that finds avenues for all people especially those who are normally marginalized to experience creativity in the context of a caring community.
